-Two members showed at the Westmorland County Fair in NB in early August. Trevor MacDonald had Champion Pigeon on a Black Show King cock and Jeremy Ludyka won Reserve Goose with a Coloured Egyptian gander.

-November 11-12 – 86th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Poultry Show (Toronto)
-CLUB ITEMS FOR SALE: T-shirts – $13.00 and Crests – $4.00. Contact the secretary for items.
-The monthly meeting of the Prince Edward Island Purebred Poultry (Fanciers) Association was held on September 1 at the Atlantic Vet College in Charlottetown. There were ten members and one guest present.
-The secretary reviewed the numbers from the summer shows. The following numbers were reported: Northumberland was up 15, Crapaud was up 37, Old Home Week was down 13, Dundas was up 5, and Egmont Bay was up 90.
-Another busy summer is drawing to a close. The summer fairs have been quite successful with good numbers of birds shown and good quality birds. It has been good to see some new names appearing as well. Let’s hope these people continue to show.
-I must once again saw a HUGE thanks to the volunteers who helped set up and tear down the Old Home Week show. It is a big job and there would be no show without these people!
